THE BIG FLY IN

PROPOSED FLIGHT ROUTE

Day 1 of the event will involve the registration of all arrivals from 12 noon until 7 pm.

Day 2 will be an early start, with flights beginning at sunrise. Planes will leave in squadrons of 6 to 8 models and their microlight escorts. These numbers will be dependant on the availability of sea rescue in the Channel.

Then it's onto Hythe, and then over the channel to Marquise for passport control...

Moving towards (To Be Announced)... for a base, and then a day later we will fly to (TBA)... to bomb our targets.

Plan.

Fly from England to franc over the English Channel. Then refuel and see pas port control. Next day the 6^th June, fly and land gliders at Pegasus Bridge. Then have a drink at the café.

The bombers can fly on and bomb a target then land and come in for a beer as well.

This photo demonstrates how we will be getting from point A to point B.

One person will sit in the back of the microlight and operate the controls for the model plane, while the microlight pilot will be navigating and handling coms.

( modles will required to be aible to fly the lenth of the channle, realising this modle will then exed the leagle mass to fly over homes. With this in mind, the flight path will be only over cuntryside, this is not a bad thing as the rought should be realy seeninck. We will be refuling just befor we leeve the shores of the UK for France. )
